Offend the audiences? Not on my watch.

Offend the audiences? Not on my watch.
For those filmmakers who only care about making money off a movie, the marketability and increasing revenue for their film “product”...HATE to break it to you, you aren’t filmmakers nor businessmen. If you’re businessmen, you’re in the wrong business; you chaps will get extremely disappointed with the results. You’ll have better luck making money by opening your pawn shop, cause in this industry you can get away with a lot of crap if it looks like it`s all you know how to do.

Hollywood is okay, if all you care about is fame, money, parties and regurgitated stories coming out of the meat grinder. (Sorry my Hollywood and L.A friends, I’m tired of acting something I am not). Perhaps you need a swift kick to the side of the head that’ll shift your brain out of the automated bullshit entitled “How can I make a movie that will sell”. Why don’t you stop buying Twinkies and begin teaching workshops on “contradictory filmmaking methods to impress strung out suits”, cause that’s exactly what you are, an over-drafted steaming pile of used film celluloid wearing a suit.

You go on and tell me your film is genre, genre my ass! You use that word again to describe the film and I’ll tear your asshole a new name. I call bullshit on everything your itching money trigger finger has to say about filmmaking. You respond “ya, but I have a yacht” and I’ll respond, “ya, go take a walk west of the 110 freeway, or east of Main Street in L.A and brag about your yacht”, then we’ll see what happens. Oh, I’m sorry, did I offend you?

It’s not okay for me to offend you but okay for you to offend audiences? I can’t help but pity the self perpetrating assholes hurling down the recycled genre, only to do it all over again with another film.

Keep your blood clean, your body lean, and your mind sharp. Get things done instead of talking about getting them done. Don`t go out and party. Don`t smoke dope, don’t drink that liquid poison or do drugs, you’ll be amazed what you can do when you start loving life, art and the cinema. Believe that one defines oneself by reinvention. To not listen to the jackals of the industry. To not be like your friends. To be yourself. To cut yourself out of stone. Don’t get me started on all you actors and all your MTV Jersey shore zombies. I'll see you all at the Transformers 3 premiere with my stale popcorn in one hand and the people's soda in the other.
